# The web app is faster and steadier

Chats, Today and every page load less and ask for less, so the web app keeps up while your workers are busy.

- **Chats** open faster, older messages load sooner, and long chats stay
  smooth while a worker writes its answer. Formulas appear right away instead
  of flashing their raw text.
- **Typing** in a long draft does less work on each key, and chat links open
  faster.
- **Today** and its Done list open faster in a busy team.
- **Less reloading.** The web app no longer reloads every page in the
  background when nothing has changed, and saving a setting reloads only what
  it changes.
- **Less to download.** Pages load less code before they show, and the chat
  no longer downloads parts of the Mac app.
- **Files on a computer.** A worker reading or writing files on a computer
  starts faster.
- **Live updates** keep going after a short network drop, and a signed-out
  tab stops asking for them.
