# Email codes still work when someone floods sign-in

If you have an account, you can still sign in with an email code when someone floods the sign-in page.

If someone floods the sign-in page, you can still sign in with an email
code, as long as you already have an account. Enter your email, click
**Continue with Email**, and type the 6-digit code from your message.

A code now stops working after 5 wrong tries. The page then says "Too many
wrong tries for this code." Click **Send New Code** to get a new one.

If you are new, the page may say that sign-in codes are busy while the flood
lasts. Try again a little later.
